Devlin DeFrancesco will miss this weekend’s GP3 round at the Hungaroring after falling ill.
After an intense double-header to start to his GP3 campaign, the ever hungry Devlin DeFrancesco will head to the Hungaroring this weekend for the next round of the highly competitive GP3 series.
Returning to Silverstone, the scene of some of his best past results, Devlin DeFrancesco gained more invaluable experience in one of the most highly regarded junior categories this weekend.
With barely time to catch his breath, Devlin heads to Silverstone (UK) for the fourth round of the 2018 GP3 series this weekend (6th - 8th July), and his first double header weekend since 2016, after a promising start to his campaign in Austria last weekend.
With no testing under his belt and no experience of the GP3 cars, Devlin DeFrancesco was thrown in at the deep end this weekend for the third round of the GP3 Series at the Red Bull Ring, but the Canadian-Italian held his own superbly.
Focusing on a new challenge, the 2017 Spanish F3 Champion Devlin DeFrancesco will be joining MP Motorsport for the remainder of the 2018 GP3 Season, kicking off at the Red Bull Ring (29th June - 1st July).

The Circuit Pau-Ville, tucked away in the Pyrénées in France, held host to the first round of what is already shaping up to be a hugely competitive FIA Formula 3 European Championship. Three races took place throughout the weekend, all in typically Pau like fashion, offering differing weather conditions and chaotic scenes with many drivers, both rookies and veterans, experiencing incidents throughout the opening round.
Reigning Spanish F3 Champion, Devlin DeFrancesco will be looking to get his season off to a solid start this weekend (11-13 May) at the Pau Grand Prix Circuit.
At 18 years and just a few days old, Devlin DeFrancesco proved that age is just a number last weekend at the 56th Rolex 24 held at Daytona International Speedway - finishing sixth alongside team-mates Simon Trummer, Robert Alon and Austin Cindric.
