DeFrancesco fired up for start of Formula 3 season

Reigning Spanish F3 Champion, Devlin DeFrancesco will be looking to get his season off to a solid start this weekend (11-13 May) at the Pau Grand Prix Circuit.

Set against the stunning backdrop of the Pyrenees mountains the historic street track is one of the most challenging circuits on the calendar. For the 2018 season, Devlin will compete in 3 Races and 2 Qualifying sessions against a field of 22 other young drivers.

Keeping busy in the off-season, the Canadian-Italian protege impressed in the world-renowned Daytona 24 earlier the year in January, finishing his debut sportscar race just shy of the top-5 in a superb sixth.

Having taken part in two rounds in the championship last year, and pre-season testing at the Red Bull Ring, the Hungaroring and Misano, Devlin will be looking to build on the experience he gained in what will be his first full campaign in Formula 3.

Looking ahead to the weekend Devlin commented:

“The first race of the year is always exciting, I just can’t wait to get back on track”
